Description

ReFramed’s MC-1 bed provides a stylish and sturdy foundation for restful sleep. Designed by Michel Charlot, the metal bed frame is made from powder-coated steel and features a birch slatted base. The minimalist bed frame is suitable for a wide range of mattresses, whether you prefer a spring mattress, foam mattress, memory foam mattress or a futon.

Thanks to its streamlined, understated design, the MC-1 bed fits effortlessly into a variety of interiors, while the robust metal construction ensures long-lasting durability. The bed is quick to assemble and just as easy to dismantle, making it practical to transport in a compact form when moving.

Michel Charlot

Michel Charlot (b. 1984) is a Swiss industrial designer who graduated from Ecole Cantonale d‘Art de Lausanne in 2009 and worked for Jasper Morrison's design studio before founding his own business in 2011. The awarded designer has collaborated with brands such as Vitra, and taught industrial design in Lausanne and Tokyo's Tama Art University.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
