Serax’s Carte Blanche espresso cup is made for savouring a classic shot of espresso. The porcelain espresso cup, paired with a matching saucer, charms with its boldly angular handle and geometric edge, matching beautifully with the other coffee and tea pieces from the same collection. Each set includes two cups and two saucers.
Created by Dutch designer Annebet Philips, the Carte Blanche collection consists of porcelain tableware for coffee and tea, defined by its playful yet purposefully simple shapes. The designs originated from prototypes folded out of cardboard, and the final pieces were carefully crafted to preserve the irregular edges and folds of those early models. The white porcelain is finished with hand-painted black accent lines, whose uneven strokes lend the collection its warm, naïve charm.
