Global’s Black Edition chef’s knife features a premium Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating whose extreme hardness, durability and low friction echo the qualities of diamond. The matte-black blade measures 20 cm, making the knife a versatile all-rounder for chopping a wide variety of ingredients, while its smoothly gliding surface enhances ease of use even further. The knife’s construction is completely seamless and therefore highly hygienic, while its dimpled handle is filled with sand to ensure a pleasantly stable grip.

Each Global knife is handcrafted in Japan, drawing on the tradition of samurai sword making. Forged from Cromova 18 – a high-grade, high-hardness stainless steel developed exclusively for Global – the blade offers excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. Thanks to its steep, acute cutting angle, the edge stays sharper for longer, delivering performance that surpasses conventional kitchen knives.
