We offer several secure payment methods for our customers. Payments in our online store are always safe, and we use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your data. All transactions are processed securely and confidentially by Adyen, one of the world’s leading e-commerce payment providers.

Payment methods

Apple Pay provides an easy and secure way to pay for your purchases. Apple Pay requires you to use the Safari browser and sign in to your Apple ID account, which has the Apple Pay activated. Payments are processed through our partner Adyen. Apple Pay is not available in all countries.

Pay securely in four interest-free installments with Clearpay (also known as Afterpay). You will be automatically directed to Clearpay's website for the payment process. Clearpay is available in the United Kingdom. Afterpay is available in Australia and New Zealand.

Buy now, pay after delivery within 14 days – no interest charged. Klarna Invoice is a safe and easy way to shop. No account or card numbers are needed, and you can make sure your items arrive as expected before you pay for them.

Klarna Invoice offers you the following benefits:

• Receive your order before you actually pay
• You have 14 days to pay from when the store shipped your order
• Pay safely without providing your card information
• You can cancel your order within 14 days

We accept American Express, Bancontact / Mister Cash, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard (Eurocard), UnionPay and Visa.

When you make a purchase, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit card to reserve the total amount of the order. The transaction will be completed when the goods have been shipped from our warehouse or the latest in 20 days.

The authorization hold will be removed from your credit card if the order is cancelled before the charge. In the case of a later cancellation, we will make a refund, which show as a separate transaction. Kindly note that it might take 3–6 business days for a refund to be visible on your credit card account.

With PayPal, you can shop without a credit card. The payment method requires a PayPal account.

You can pay for your purchases in the Finnish Design Shop online store with an eGift Card. The eGift Card is valid for 24 months.

Add your chosen products to the shopping cart and enter the unique eGift Card code in the designated field at checkout. Multiple eGift Cards can be used for the same order. If the total order amount exceeds the value of the gift cards, you can pay the remaining balance using your preferred payment method. If the eGift Card or cards cover the full value of the cart, the order will be placed immediately when you click “Proceed to payment”.

The eGift Card can also be used flexibly in parts over several purchases until the full value has been redeemed. Please note that any remaining balance will not be refunded once the eGift Card has expired.

The Finnish Design Shop eGift Card is a quick and easy way to give a well-loved gift. The eGift Card is delivered instantly either to the purchaser or directly to the recipient’s email address.

Deals and discounts

First, click 'Use a gift card or a campaign code' at checkout. Enter the code in the field and click 'Apply'. If you have several gift cards, use them one at a time. The campaign code only works with normal-priced items.

We’re delighted to have you in our community! Your personal benefit can be used for one new full-priced order in our online shop. The benefit does not apply to limited editions, gift cards or Studio services and cannot be combined with other promotional offers. It is a one-time benefit, valid for one month from your joining date. Activate the benefit by making your purchase while logged in.

Sometimes a campaign or discount benefit may not appear at checkout as expected. In most cases, the reason can be found in the campaign terms. The most common reasons are:

  • The benefit applies only to full-priced products.
  • The campaign requires you to be logged in or to be a member of our loyalty program. Psst. Did you know that membership is free? Join here.
  • The benefit cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • The campaign is valid only for a limited time or for selected products.

 Please also note that campaigns apply only to new orders and cannot be added to orders that have already been placed.
