Description

Basel sofa by Adea charms with a combination of angular shapes, relaxed comfortability and balanced proportions. Upholstered in fine, velvety nubuck leather, the seat of the sofa rests on sleek aluminium legs that give it an airy, hovering character. Feather-filled cushions complement the sofa with natural softness and feeling of luxury.

”The working title for the Basel sofa was ’house wine’. The aim was to design a sofa without grand gestures but with a more refined sense for shape, proportions and comfort that suits a wide range of interior styles”, designers Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle explain. And just like house wine at a fine restaurant, Basel sofa is a reliable and straightforward choice that suits various tastes and makes a great companion for a range of different furniture.

  • Notes Natural characteristics of nubuck includes small irregularities and colour variations. The surface can be brushed with a suede brush to balance colour differences. The surface is very porous, so it absorbs moisture and fats when in contact with them. Do not place the product in the immediate vicinity of the heat source or exposed to sunlight.
  • Care instructions Feather cushions require regular beating and fluffing. To do this, simply pat the cushion and redistribute the feathers evenly throughout with your hand.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
£129.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over  £3000.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from £29 to £149 and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
