Alessi’s Bedin portable table lamp by Allesandro Stabile turns the proportions of a classic table lamp on their head: instead of a prominent shade, the most eye-catching feature is its sculptural, cone-shaped base that flares downward. The minimalist upper part houses the light source and functions as a dimmer switch – simply rotate the small, round top to adjust brightness and colour temperature.
Casting a soft, downward glow onto the base and table surface, Bedin creates a cosy atmosphere at the dining table and works equally well on a side table or nightstand. Made of anodised aluminium, the rechargeable lamp is lightweight and easy to move. It comes with a charging base and USB-C cable, and provides up to 30 hours of light on the lowest setting.
