Description

HAY’s Annex table brings a calm, structured rhythm and clean, architectural lines to any space. Created by British designer John Tree, the sturdy four-legged table suits both home and restaurant use, and fits just as well in workspaces or offices. The tabletop is finished with a durable, easy-to-clean laminate, while the softly rounded legs are made from recycled aluminium.

Versatility is at the heart of the Annex table collection, with carefully balanced proportions and a wide range of sizes, shapes and material options. Whether you’re after a round or rectangular table, a wood or metal frame, or a surface in veneer, laminate, linoleum or textile, there’s an Annex table to match your needs. The pared-back, friendly design of the tables pairs effortlessly with both classic and more contemporary seating.

John Tree

British designer John Tree, based in London, boasts a dynamic career in product and furniture design. His work has garnered well-deserved recognition, gracing the pages of numerous international publications. Moreover, John Tree has achieved several prestigious design awards such as the Red Dot and the iF Design Award.

Tree's professional journey began at Kingston University, and from there, he gained valuable experience at FM Design. However, it was his tenure at the Sony Design team that truly marked a turning point. John contributed his design expertise across different locations, including Tokyo, San Francisco, and London.

Subsequently, he made a significant move by joining Jasper Morrison's studio but in 2016, embarked on an exciting venture by establishing his own design office. Today, he adeptly juggles his time between Jasper's studio and his personal workspace, where he fearlessly pushes the boundaries of industrial processes working with a variety of clients from Epson to HAY. In this creative space, John crafts an array of designs, spanning contract and domestic furniture, lighting, accessories, and cutting-edge electronics.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
1200 DKK.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 24 000 DKK.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 240 DKK to 1200 DKK and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 1000 DKK
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 800 DKK

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
