Description

GUBI’s Stemlite floor lamp brings a joyful touch of 1960s spirit to modern interiors. Designed by Bill Curry in 1962, the iconic Stemlite lamps draw inspiration from nature: the sleek, cast-metal base resembles the slender yet sturdy stem of a tulip, supporting a hand-blown opal glass shade like a delicate bud. At the same time, the design feels strikingly modern, even futuristic – Stemlite was named the most influential lamp of 1965 by Industrial Design Magazine and was featured in the original Star Trek series set design.

With its clean yet expressive design language, the dimmable floor light blends effortlessly into both classic and contemporary interiors, making the Stemlite collection an excellent choice not only for homes but also for public spaces.
