Alken’s goal was to create a patio furniture set that was just as high quality and stylish as FDB Møbler’s indoor furniture, leading him to choose teak wood as the furniture’s material. The timeless and durable natural material ages beautifully, developing a lovely patina over time, with its golden-brown shade turning into a gorgeous silvery grey – however, the furniture’s original hue can also be maintained by protecting and regularly oiling the furniture.
