Description

FDB Møbler’s Øst bar chair is a classically beautiful wooden chair made of solid oak and oak veneer, designed for both home and restaurant use. The footrests, placed at different heights, support a variety of sitting positions, while the higher rear footrest conveniently doubles as a place to hang scarves or jackets.

Designed by Stine Weigelt, the Øst collection continues the designer’s distinctive visual language seen in her earlier Søs and Anker series – featuring tapered legs, clean lines, and a subtle rounded detail where the legs meet. These minimalist wooden bar chairs pair effortlessly with a wide range of high tables and kitchen islands.

Stine Lundgaard Weigelt

Stine Lungaard Weigelt (b. 1978) runs her own design studio, Stine Weigelt Studio, in Aarhus, Denmark. After graduating in 2014 from Design School Kolding, Weigelt has been involved in a variety of projects in the fields of furniture and product design, art exhibitions as well as social design, and, among other recognitions, has been awarded with the Danish Finn Juhl award in 2017.
