DCWéditions' In The Sun wall lamp consists of a steel base and a fascinatingly bent metal mesh shade, which allows In The Sun to create not only gentle lighting around it, but also a beautiful halo resembling sunlight. The silver and gold-coloured lamp can be mounted on the wall or on the ceiling.

French designers Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost designed the In The Sun lamp for the Dufour pavilion of the Palace of Versailles, which was renovated in 2016 by Perrault's architect office. In addition to the light patterns created by the shade, the name of the lamp, In The Sun, refers to the Sun King Ludwig XIV, who once held his court in Versailles.
