Description

Kartell’s Angelo Stone floor lamp, designed by Philippe Starck, turns the traditional lamp structure upside down: instead of a classic lampshade hiding the bulb, the LED light source is placed in the base, casting its glow upwards towards a pleated fabric-covered plastic shade. The result is a softly reflected, evenly diffused light that can be dimmed with a touch dimmer integrated into the base.

Blending modern and classic aesthetics in a fresh, elegant way, Angelo Stone is perfect for lighting up a bedside area, side table or wall shelf.

Philippe Starck

The french designer Philippe Starck (b. 1949) studied in École Nissim de Camondo in Paris and stayed in Paris after his studies. He became famous for his style and even the president Francois Mitterand asked him to design a suite to his palace. Starck became one of the most famous designers of that time and designed everything from apartment blocks, homes, domestic products and hotels. 

In the 80s and 90s Starck started working for Kartell. The cooperation was built on the company’s will to create eco-friendly, contemporary plastic furniture and the designer's particular style. One of the most iconic designs of our time, the transparent Louis Ghost chair, was one of the results of the cooperation with Kartell.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

For orders shipped to non-EU countries (excluding the US, Norway, Switzerland and the UK):

  • Product prices are shown without local taxes or import duties
  • Import duties, taxes and customs fees will be charged by local authorities depending on the destination country.

All orders are shipped from Finland. For non-EU orders, the country of origin for each product is stated in the shipping documents.
