Petite Friture – Parisian design with an open-minded spirit
Founded in 2009 by Amélie du Passage, Petite Friture was born from a desire to give space to new voices and fresh ideas in the world of design. The Paris-based brand’s name nods to the atmosphere of French bistros and light bites – a reflection of the idea that design can be approachable and playful, yet still ambitious.
An international circle of designers
Petite Friture builds its collections through close collaboration with independent designers. The brand is known for its ability to spot emerging talent and give designers the freedom to develop their ideas to their full potential. These collaborations have resulted in a wide range of distinctive and characterful products, including lighting and furniture, each defined by a strong concept and the designer’s unique hand.
The elegant and upbeat collection has been shaped by designers such as AC/AL Studio, Tom Chung, Constance Guisset and Studio BrichetZiegler.
Colour, lightness and playful forms
Petite Friture’s design language balances playfulness with clarity. Bold colours, airy structures and graphic shapes make the products instantly recognisable, while usability and quality always remain at the core.
The brand’s furniture and lighting are designed first and foremost for everyday living – bringing character to a space without ever feeling heavy or overpowering.
