What's the difference between bar stools and counter stools?

Many of our designer bar stools and chairs are available in two heights: counter height and bar height. In general, counter-height stools are slightly lower than bar stool chairs designed for kitchen islands or breakfast bars. If you need chairs or stools suited to standard-height tables, counters and desks, visit our selection of luxury counter-height stools.

Not sure what type is best for your table or counter, keep in mind that counter-height stools are usually about 60 cm–65 cm and bar-height stools about 70 cm–75 cm in height.
