Description

Serax’s Yucca table lamp brings together opposite materials and shapes in a delightfully distinctive way. The sculptural base, made from stoneware, is all clean lines and bold geometry, softened by a delicate textile shade in a subtle hue. The result is a perfectly balanced yet characterful table lamp that feels just as at home on a bedside table as it does in a cosy reading nook.

Designer Bob Verhelst is known for his artistic approach to design. Each of his creations begins with hand-drawn pencil sketches that are transformed into full-scale cardboard prototypes. The Yucca lamp continues this unique design journey, inviting its warm and creative glow straight to your home.

Bob Verhelst

Belgian designer Bob Verhelst’s remarkable career reflects a bold pursuit of originality and artistic expression. Trained in interior architecture and scenography, Verhelst has become known for his ability to blur the boundaries between art, fashion and architecture. His work draws inspiration from Belgian surrealism, Nordic minimalism, and design icons like Le Corbusier and Magritte.

Over the years, Verhelst has collaborated with fashion houses like Dior, Chanel, and Hermès, creating unforgettable window displays, exhibitions, and art installations. He has also lent his creative touch to international stage productions and received numerous awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and the Prix Étoile de l'Excellence en scénographie.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
