Description

CC-Tapis charms with its Vice Versa rug collection, designed by Chiara Andreatti and inspired by the graphic legacy of the Bauhaus movement. Handwoven from jute, cotton and undyed felted wool, the Vice Versa rug's bold geometric pattern creates an optical illusion so mesmerising it almost seems to shift and shimmer with subtle tones the longer you look. Vice Versa is a a true conversation starter that brings energy and intrigue to any room at home or in a public space as well.

  • Notes Jute is a durable, eco-friendly fiber that is resistant to wear and stains. Natural tonal variations make each rug unique. Wool felt is dense and insulating, often used for rugs due to its durability. To preserve the colors, avoid direct sunlight and rotate the rug occasionally.
  • Care instructions Vacuum regularly on a low setting without a rotating brush. Spot clean jute with mild detergent and let air dry flat. Avoid direct sunlight. Don't pull loose ends – tuck or trim and knot. Use a rug pad for longevity. For felt, vacuum both sides regularly and blot spills gently with a wool-safe solution. Let air dry fully. Avoid heat. Seek professional cleaning for stubborn stains.

Chiara Andreatti

Italian designer Chiara Andreatti brings a sense of elegance, sensitivity and artisanal refinement to contemporary design. Originally from near Venice, she moved to Milan to study at the European Institute of Design and later pursued a Master’s degree at Domus Academy. With over a decade of experience at Studio Lissoni Associati and collaborations with renowned brands like CC-Tapis, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Fendi Casa, and Starbucks, Andreatti has built an impressive portfolio that bridges heritage and innovation. She has also served as art director for several design companies, and in 2019, her Loïe armchair for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna earned her the prestigious IF Design Award.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
