Description

Martinelli Luce’s TX1 Luxury table lamp takes your mind all the way to space. Designed by Marco Ghilarducci, the TX1 lamp was inspired by satellites and space, and its futuristic expression does indeed bring to mind the shape of satellite dishes. The bold table lamp features a slightly convex aluminium disc, which diffuses the light from the lamp’s cylindrical base into a smooth, glare-free glow. The angle of the shade can be freely adjusted using the slender metal arms.

Thanks to its sculptural shape and dimmable light source, the TX1 table lamp is well suited, for example, for a lobby or a living room. The brass details and sheen of the grey matte surfaces give the TX1 Luxury lamp a sophisticated finishing touch.

Marco Ghilarducci

Marco Ghilarducci (b. 1975) is an Italian designer and grandson of Elio Martinelli, founder of the lighting company Martinelli Luce. Ghilarducci, who has studied engineering at the University of Pisa, has been a computer enthusiast since childhood, and his interest in technology is strongly reflected in his designs, such as Martinelli Luce’s TX1 lamp. Ghilarducci has been involved with Martinelli Luce since 2000 and is currently the Managing Director of the company.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
