Description

Together with the Dutch colour and textile designer Hella Jongerius, Artek has developed new, two-tone colour for its linen webbing. The different tones of warp and weft give the webbing a vivid, almost three-dimensional expression. Also, the technical features of the webbing have been updated: the webbing is pre-stretched after weaving for extra stiffness and durability. The webbing is made of twisted linen yarn in Germany.

Needed amount of replacement webbing for Artek chairs:

  • 43 lounge chair: 34 m
  • 45 armchair: 20 m (seat 9,4 m, backrest 10,6 m)
  • 406 armchair: 20 m
  • 611 chair: 13,2 m (seat 7 m, backrest 6,2 m)
  • 612 chair: 6 m (backrest)
  • 615 chair 12,7 m (seat 8 m, backrest 4,7 m)
  • 617 bar stool: 10,7 m (seat 6,9 m, back rest 3,8 m)
  • Y61 stool: 7,2 m

Replacement webbing is sold by the metre.

Due to the natural colour variations of linen, Artek recommends replacing the webbing for the seat and backrest at the same time. Linen may stretch slightly with use.

    Nettisivuilla ei kerrottu, että vyötä myydään metreittäin. Niinpä tuli tilattua väärä määrä vyötä. Artekin sivuilta tarkistin että yksi rulla sisältää 50 metriä vyötä. Tarkoitus oli tilata 150 metriä. Yllätys oli suuri, kun postissa saapuikin 3 metriä. Ihmettelinkin halpaa hintaa…

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.
