Description

The Oblique floor lamp, designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Flos, is a minimalist light with top-quality technological features. Perfectly suited to home office surroundings or lounging spaces, the base is crafted in die-cast aluminium and the patented optical lens is constructed of methacrylate. Both studies and working from home become a breeze, as the Oblique floor lamp's design protects from glare and minimises flickering, making it ideal for even the most demanding technology enthusiast. The base is finished with a USB-C connection for recharging compatible devices.

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen (b. 1962) is a Belgian architect, interior architect and product designer renowned for his pure, timeless style. He graduated in architecture from the Sint-Lucas Institute in Ghent in 1985 and established his own studio in Antwerp in 1990. Van Duysen’s design philosophy focuses on the essential – he strips away the superfluous to create harmonious compositions where clear architecture, understated aesthetics and a strong sense of materiality come together.

Van Duysen has designed products for brands such as Flos and Serax, and since 2016, he has served as the creative director of the Italian company Molteni&C. His work has received widespread international acclaim and has been featured in numerous major architecture and design publications around the world.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

We want you to love your purchase—that’s why we offer 30-day returns.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

By providing a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), you confirm that you are registered for GST in Australia. In this case, GST is collected by Australian customs and therefore deducted from the order total at checkout. This deduction is shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.
