NF-CT01 coffee table, 60 x 150 cm, lacquered oak
Description
Karimoku Case's NF-CT01 coffee table features a clean silhouette, proof of what thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship can achieve at their finest. The solid coffee table is made from two long, narrow planks set side by side on sturdy wooden legs. The lively oak grain, visible through the lacquered surface, adds character to the look and makes every table a truly unique piece, too.
While it’s a striking choice for a living room or lobby, the long, slender coffee table also feels right at home in contemporary restaurants. We’d also recommend trying it as a low dining table at home: simply gather a few comfortable floor cushions around it and set the table beautifully. The NF-CT01 coffee table is designed by Norman Foster.

Norman Foster (b. 1935) is one of the most significant names of modern British architecture. The founder of the architectural office Foster + Partners, Foster is famous for his bold designs that often combine steel and glass. The sleek, streamlined style is also visible in his product design.
Foster + Partners has designed numerous landmarks around the globe, including London’s City Hall, the airport terminals in Beijing and Hong Kong, the glass dome of Berlin’s Reichstag building and Millau Viaduct, the highest road bridge in the world. Foster was knighted in 1990 and in 1999 he was granted a life peerage as Baron Foster of Thames Bank. The same year he was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, often referred to as the Nobel Prize of architecture.
