Description

&Tradition's Halten SH9 side table is named after the German word "halten", which means "to keep" or "to hold". And yes, indeed, the table is designed to hold as your faithful companion in everyday life, moving with you from room to room, wherever it is needed the most. This is made possible by the Halten side table's ingenious design with a convenient handle that makes it easy to carry from one space to another.

The Halten table presents its designer, Sebastian Herkner's attention to detail, as well as his appreciation of precious materials. The table top is made of dark smoked glass, which creates a sophisticated element with the dark steel frame.

Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner (b. 1981) is a German designer whose work spans from furniture, lighting and smaller items to interior architecture and exhibition design. Herkner has studied product design at the Offenbach University of Art and Design, and since establishing his own studio in 2006, he has collaborated with brands such as GUBI, Fontana Arte and &Tradition. During his career, Herkner has been awarded many notable design awards, including the IF Award, Iconic Award and Elle Deco International Design Award.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

We want you to love your purchase—that’s why we offer 30-day returns.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
