Description

Korbo’s Fire-works firedogs bring not only warmth but also a touch of modern Nordic design to your fireplace. Designed by Broberg & Ridderståle, the handmade cast iron andirons are suitable for all types of fireplaces.

Fire dogs' functional structure lifts the firewood off the bottom of the fireplace, improving airflow for a more even and longer-lasting burn. At the same time, they help protect your fireplace by preventing the wood from coming into direct contact with the base. The set includes two fire dogs.

  • Care instructions Dust, grease and grime are best removed with a rag soaked in white spririt rather than water. If water is used, make sure to wipe the tools with a clean, dry cloth after cleaning to remove all excess moisture. To prevent oxidation and preserve the finish of the firetools, periodically wipe down with olive or linseed oil, ensuring excess oil is removed. I rust marks appear, rub down lightly with a fine grade steel wool and oil.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
