Description

Baron sofa by Adea has an elegant and inviting appearance that results from the combination of sleek, black metal legs and luxuriously soft nubuck leather. The uncut pieces of upholstery leather and the viscoelastic cushions with feather pockets give the sofa a puffy feeling.

Designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, the clear and timeless design of Baron will complement both classic and modern interiors and various styles of décor.

Adea furniture is manufactured in Finland.

  • Care instructions Feather cushions require regular beating and fluffing. To do this, simply pat the cushion and redistribute the feathers evenly throughout with your hand. Natural characteristics of nubuck includes small irregularities and colour variations. The surface can be brushed with a suede brush to balance colour differences. The surface is very porous, so it absorbs moisture and fats when in contact with them. Do not place the product in the immediate vicinity of the heat source or exposed to sunlight.

Broberg & Ridderstråle

Broberg & Ridderstråle is a design and architecture studio founded by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, both interior architects and designers who graduated from Sweden’s Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2006. Based in Stockholm, the duo works across architecture and design, forming a creative partnership grounded in a shared aesthetic vision.

Their work aims to evoke emotional value and connect with users through familiar symbols and meaningful references. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, they combine a rational design approach with touches of humour and wit. Broberg & Ridderstråle have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Elle Interior Design Prize and the Design Plus Award.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
