Description

Arabia’s SN model plant pot is an archival gem brought back into production. The planter is a sought-after classic by Finnish artist and industrial designer Richard Lindh, whose career at Arabia spanned over 35 years. Made from durable stoneware, the plant pot SN has a clean, minimalist design and provides a stylish space to flourish for all kinds of houseplants and flowers.

Thanks to the glazing, home gardeners of any level can easily clean the Arabia flower pot, included in Lindh's SN1 series – parts of which, until now, have been rare finds at flea markets and vintage stores. What's more, the glazing helps maintain the soil's moisture balance more evenly than porous pots. The drainage hole placed in the bottom together with the separate saucer ensure that plants thrive in their beautiful home, which has delighted all those with a green thumb since the 1960s.

Richard Lindh

Richard Lindh (1929–2006) was an artist and industrial designer who had a long career in the design industry, working for decades for the Finnish design brand Arabia in several different positions. Perhaps most well-known of his designs are the ceramic flower pots he designed for Arabia as well as the Solifer Export moped.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
