Description

The Section bowl by Form & Refine possesses a modest charm created by the natural beauty of the bowl’s material, oak, with the only decoration being the carved ring pattern on the bowl’s outer edge. Designed by Herman Studio, the Section bowl adds a beautifully minimalist Nordic touch to your dining table as a fruit bowl – or even to the rest of your home as a display and storage for all kinds of small items you might have lying around.

The bowl is made from wood offcuts that come mainly from the production of the Shoemaker Chair. Due to the grain pattern, each bowl is unique.

Herman Studio

Herman Studio is a Danish design practice founded in 2011, specialising in furniture and interior design. The studio was established by Helle Herman Mortensen, who holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Aalborg University, and Jonas Herman Pedersen, who studied furniture and spatial design at the Aarhus School of Architecture.

Mortensen places emphasis on storytelling and viewing design from multiple perspectives, while Pedersen values a holistic approach to materials and production processes. Their work often balances elegance and strength, with a touch of playfulness and unexpected detail woven into each design.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
