Pedrali
Italian Pedrali’s high-quality tables, chairs, furniture and lighting have been furnishing cafés, restaurants and homes for decades. The company originates from Palazzolo sull’Oglio in the province of Brescia, where Mario Pedrali opened a small workshop in 1963. Initially, Pedrali produced wrought-iron seating for outdoor use, but from the 1970s onwards the company expanded its operations and began collaborating with both Italian and international architects and designers, increasingly specializing in industrial-scale production.
Founded as a family business, the company still manufactures all of its products in Italy, using premium materials ranging from metal to plastic and wood. Throughout the production process, special attention is paid not only to materials and raw resources but also to resource optimisation, waste management and emissions control. After Mario Pedrali, the company has been led by his children, Monica and Giuseppe. Today, Pedrali employs hundreds of people. In 2011, the brand received the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro award for the Frida chair designed by Odo Fioravanti.
