Bjørn Wiinblad
The ceramic works of Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006) have adorned homes in Denmark and around the world already for decades. Prolific in many art forms and one of Denmark's most productive artists, Bjørn Wiinblad is perhaps best known for his ceramic female figures, plates and candle holders – including the delightful Eva collection – adorned with lavish decorations that exude joyful exuberance. Since 2014, the Danish company Rosendahl Design Group has held the rights to the artist's creations – as a result, Wiinblad's beloved works have been accompanied by new interpretations based on his original designs.
