Kustaa Saksi

Kustaa Saksi (b. 1975) is a Finnish multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. He graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design and is known for his imaginative prints and bold use of colors. Working at the intersection of contemporary art and design, his practice centers on large-scale textile installations and jacquard weavings that explore themes of abstraction, nature, and altered perception. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and Design Museum Helsinki. Saksi’s clients include globally well-known brands such as Marimekko, Nike, Sony Playstation, Nokia and Issey Miyake.
