Kauppi & Kauppi

Kauppi & Kauppi is a Swedish design studio founded in 2016 by designers Johan and Nina Kauppi. Both hold master’s degrees in design from HDK-Valand at the University of Gothenburg, where they graduated in 2006. Before establishing their studio, they worked for several years in Sweden and abroad.

Kauppi & Kauppi work across a wide range of disciplines, including small objects, furniture, lighting, interiors and architectural projects. Their work draws on the pared-back tradition of Scandinavian design as well as the contrast between the tranquility of nature and the pulse of urban life. The duo has received numerous national and international design awards, including the Swedish Design Award, iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award and several German Design Awards.
