Anna Lerinder
Swedish designer Anna Lerinder (b. 1970) is best known for her work in porcelain design. She studied at Beckmans School of Design and further developed her craft while working at the Rörstrand porcelain factory. Today, Lerinder is based at the former porcelain factory area in Gustavsberg, where she works as both a freelance designer and a ceramic artist.
At the heart of Lerinder’s practice are form, proportion, and contrast. Her portfolio ranges from functional tableware and wall reliefs to large-scale public artworks, and her work is represented in collections such as the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg. Moving effortlessly between different ceramic materials, Lerinder often favors the smoothness of porcelain as a counterpoint to rougher textures. In recent years, she has also expanded her expression into painting, further enriching the surfaces and dimensions of her work.
