Description

Mifuko’s Kiondo floor basket brings together traditions from across the globe: Scandinavian design and Kenyan handicraft. Made from paper, the large basket is perfect for storing anything from toys and throws to magazines. The short handles give the basket a finishing touch and make it easy to move around. The beautiful and unique baskets are hand-made in Kenya, and every piece is signed by its creator.

  • Notes Kiondo baskets are folded for transport to save space. You can shape the basket by spraying it lightly with water and then shaping it by hand. See the care instructions for more information.
  • Care instructions Baskets made of paper do not tolerate soaking but can be cleaned with water. Remove any stains as quickly as possible by blotting the stain with a clean, absorbent rag. Do not rub. Let the basket dry airily to avoid misshaping.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
