Design House Stockholm's Hydraulic vase is offering its admirers a clue – the object’s name actually refers to its manufacturing method! Familiar to many from YouTube, a hydraulic press is the secret to achieving the intriguing shape, which differs from one vase to the next. Made from polished stainless steel, the distinctly unique vase combining art and craft is designed by Isa Andersson. While Hydraulic looks dazzling accompanied by a bouquet of flowers, it also stands out solo as a sculptural piece on a windowsill, dining table or mantelpiece.

Isa Andersson

Isa Andersson (b. 1990) is a Swedish artist with a strong and distinct visual language. Equipped with a calling to challenge conventions in her artistic work, Andersson holds an MFA in Design from Konstfack and a BFA in Product Design from Beckmans College of Design. Known particularly for her clear glass objects and installations, she is part of the all-female artists’ collective Misschiefs.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
