Description

Fontana coffee table from FontanaArte is an Italian design classic by Pietro Chiesa from 1932. Fontana coffee table is characterized by an extremely refined, timeless elegance – instead of a separate tabletop and legs, the table is made of a single piece of bent glass. The transparent glass gives the table a lightweight, almost hovering expression, yet thanks to the 15 mm thick glass, the structure is stable and strong. Fontana coffee table looks equally great with older design classics as well as contemporary design.

Pietro Chiesa

Pietro Chiesa (1892-1948) was an Italian designer who specialised in modernist and Art Deco designs. Chiesa was one of the founding members of FontanaArte which was established in 1932, and as its artistic director, he designed hundreds of items ranging from furniture to objets d’art. A member of the Swiss Ticino family of artists, Chiesa is best known for his glass furnishing pieces, such as the Fontana table.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
