Description

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s vibrant A Cook Book poster brings a sense of freedom, boldness, and self-expression to the wall in the spirit of American artist Dorothy Iannone. Known for her bright colours and fearless visual language, Iannone has explored themes of love, sexuality, and spirituality in her work since the 1960s. The A Cook Book poster was released in 2022 as part of the Louisiana on Paper series, which offered a wide-ranging look at both modern drawing practices and classic works in the field.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s poster collection includes prints from iconic exhibitions held at the Danish museum over the years. Printed on high-quality paper, posters bring a stylish touch of contemporary art to your walls.

American artist Dorothy Iannone (1933–2022) moved boldly against the current throughout her decades-long career. In her vivid and colourful work, she explored even the most intimate themes of freedom, love, and sexuality with striking honesty and personal depth. Iannone created a world entirely her own, filled with rich decorative motifs, mythological references and autobiographical symbolism.
