Fatboy: Colour, comfort and feel-good design
The Fatboy story began in 1998, when Finnish designer Jukka Setälä created a generous, modern take on the classic beanbag. Dutch entrepreneur Alex Bergman spotted its potential — and in 2002 founded Fatboy, turning the quirky seat into a global success.
Since then, Fatboy has expanded into furniture, lighting and playful interior objects, all carrying the same delightfully practical spirit that made the original beanbag famous. Whenever possible, recycled materials are used, and every product is tested for months to ensure it’s comfortable, functional and built to last.
