Stelton’s Pilastro collection brings a modern interpretation of 1920s design to the table – designer Francis Cayouette sought inspiration for the design from the art deco style of the era. Francis Cayouette (b. 1969) is a French-Canadian industrial designer who studied in both Montreal and Paris. Since 1999, he has run his own Copenhagen-based studio, Unit10. Throughout his career, Cayouette has designed a wide range of products – from decorative home objects to practical storage solutions and lifestyle accessories. His design approach is marked by a strong sense of empathy for everyday life, combined with a clear industrial design perspective.
