Arabia 24h tableware: For every moment in life
Finnish designer Heikki Orvola originally designed the 24h tableware collection for his personal use. Impressed by the pieces seen at Orvola’s home, Arabia introduced the collection into production in 1996. Next year, the 24h series gained recognition at the Frankfurt Ambiente International fair, receiving the prestigious Design Plus Award. Since then, 24h has become one of Arabia’s most popular and beloved tableware collections.
Colours and shapes of the 24h tableware
Arabia’s 24h tableware collection features a variety of items, including plates, mugs and serving dishes, available in multiple sizes and colours. In addition to neutral white, the 24h series has been introduced in monochrome black, a seasonal colour red, as well as captivating patterns.
• Avec: Designed by Kati Tuominen-Niittylä, the circular Avec pattern strikes a balance between dynamic playfulness and serene simplicity. Available in several colours.
• Piennar: Created for the 25th anniversary of the 24h series, the Piennar collection features a blue collage pattern designed by Heikki Orvola. It blends traditional and modern styles, incorporating both classic flowers and abstract elements.
• Tuokio: Designed by studio Helorinne & Kallio, the Tuokio pattern draws inspiration from Arabia’s rich decorative tradition. Tuokio is simultaneously new and nostalgic, delicate yet strong.
