Description

The Savu sauna pillow by Lapuan Kankurit brings the calm, slightly mystical atmosphere of a traditional smoke sauna to even an electric one. Designed by Heini Turunen, the graphic pattern adds a stylish touch to the sauna while the pillow offers soft support, filled with fire-safe polyester wadding for safe relaxation. The linen-cotton cover feels gentle against the skin yet stays comfortably cool, even in the heat. The versatile and travel-friendly Savu pillow also makes a great companion on longer journeys.

The fabric of the Savu cushion is woven in Lapua's own weaving mill in Ostrobothnia, Finland. The sauna pillow's fire-safe wadding also comes from Ostrobothnia, a town called Jalasjärvi.

  • Notes Keep away from the hot stove. Do not sleep in the sauna. Remember to take the textiles out of the sauna always after use, do not dry textiles inside sauna.
  • Care instructions Wash the new textile before use. Delicate laundry wash at 40°C. Wash separately. Avoid softener and bleach. Do not tumble dry.

Heini Turunen

Heini Turunen is a Finnish textile designer working at the meeting point of art and design. With a background in fine arts and art education, she holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University and has also studied textile design at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Her patterns are characterized by hand-drawn and painted surfaces where sensitivity meets strength. Timeless and well-suited for everyday life, her designs aim to spark emotions and bring joy to daily moments.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
1200 DKK.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 24 000 DKK.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 240 DKK to 1200 DKK and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:
