David Thulstrup is a Danish architect and designer, acclaimed for his "modern simplicity" style that embodies a blend of minimalism and contemporary elegance. His approach to design is comprehensive, and he seamlessly combines architecture, interior design and product design together. This is why he often creates furniture and lighting for specific projects – but always with the intention that his work can be used anywhere.
Thulstrup's educational background includes a Master's degree in Interior Architecture, earned from the Danish Design School, complemented by his status as an Architect MAA. Before founding Studio David Thulstrup in 2009, he worked in Paris and New York on various projects, including residential, commercial, institutional, and luxury retail. One of his most well-known projects is the interior of Noma restaurant in Copenhagen.
