Designed by Ingo Maurer in 1980, the Floatation pendant is a sculptural luminaire with an ethereal presence. The pendant consists of three delicate shades made of Japanese paper that gently diffuse light, casting a soft and atmospheric glow all around. The shades are suspended with thin wires, and their height can be easily adjusted using the red metal ring.
Thanks to its light and airy expression, Floatation is a beautiful choice above a dining table, in the living room or any space where a graceful eye-catcher is needed. Every detail, from the handmade paper to the white metal canopy, reflects timeless elegance and Ingo Maurer’s uncompromising design philosophy.
