Yuichi Yokoyama

Yuichi Yokoyama (b. 1967) is a Japanese, internationally known manga and visual artist. He graduated from the oil painting department of Musashino Art University and initially worked mainly in contemporary art. From the early 2000s onwards, he also began publishing manga.

Yokoyama’s distinctive works later came to be described as “neo-manga”, and his output has earned wide recognition across both the art world and popular culture. In addition to Japan, his works have been published in several European countries as well as in the United States.
