Verena Hennig is a German designer and the founder of the AKTTEM brand, launched in 2018. Hennig specialises in creating timeless furniture, lighting and everyday objects that invite interaction. The name AKTTEM is a combination of the German word aktiv and the English word item – a reflection of Hennig’s design philosophy, which is rooted in the idea that well-designed objects can inspire dynamic, activating experiences.
