Alessi’s La Bella Tavola and My Beautiful China serving plate charms with its delicate, refined geometric pattern, bringing elegance to both everyday meals and more festive table settings. The oval serving plate is perfect for presenting salads, pasta dishes, desserts and other delicious treats.

Originally designed by Italian design legend Ettore Sottsass in 1993, the La Bella Tavola and My Beautiful China series is now returning to Alessi’s collection to delight lovers of high-quality design.

Ettore Sottsass

Ettore Sottsass (1917–2007) was an influential Italian designer and architect, who became famous for his colourful, modernist designs and experimental, radical attitude. He was one of the founders of the design group Memphis, and in 1980 he founded his own agency Sottsass Associati, which today has offices in London and Milan. Sottsass designed many products for the Italian design brand Alessi, and his works are included in the Alessi 100 Values Collection, which was launched to celebrate Alessi's centennial.
