Description

OX Denmarq's Deck table, designed by Dennis Marquart, is a bold combination of marble and metal. Consisting of a round marble top and an angular, simplistic steel frame, the Deck table is a striking choice as a coffee table for a living room or an extra table for various different decors. The black Marquina marble gets its classic look from lighter veins crossing the dark stone, and small details such as cracks are also part of its natural character. The marble top is attached to the metal frame with screws.

Dennis Marquart

Dennis Marquart, co-founder of the Danish design company OX Denmarq, is known for his attraction to plain forms and combinations of various different materials. Besides studying furniture design at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, Marquart has also studied in Japan and China. The Asian influence is visible in his work as aesthetics of simplicity and precision, which fit seamlessly together with the traditions of Scandinavian design. In the collections of OX Denmarq, classic and strong materials such as leather, wood and steel take modern and light forms together. A fine example is the O Table, in which marble and steel combine into an airy and fresh design.
