Tala's portable The Rugged Muse lamp is an adventure-ready take on the British lighting manufacturer’s The Muse table lamp, which combines the aesthetics of a classic lantern with modern technology, while drawing inspiration from the grandeur of the British pleasure gardens. Thanks to its IP65 rating, The Rugged Muse is even more in tune with outdoor conditions, including the likes of moisture and dust.

Made of shatter-resistant acrylic and raw aluminium, the rechargeable lamp is elevated by its beautiful brass detailing. The Rugged Muse is ideal for sustainably-minded decorators, as it is designed to be easily repaired over time. The completely cordless table lamp is well suited for outdoor use providing up to 24 hours of light and a convenient, rotating Dim to Warm dimmer. The versatile design brings a warm atmosphere exactly where you need it – when dining out with friends, enjoying a good book in the corner of the living room, or delving into the great outdoors.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
