Description

The Polar Bear, designed by Teresa Moorhouse for Mum’s, is a charming rug hand-woven of 100% wool. The un-dyed, natural white rug brings joy and warmth to any room: place it, for instance, in the living room, by the bed or into the nursery. The friendly and fluffy members of the Polar Bear family range from a small baby cub to a giant bear – choose your favourite!

Mum’s wool products are woven by hand from local, mulesing-free wool in Mum’s workshop in Northern India with a strong respect for ethical working conditions and sustainable production. From every sold Polar Bear rug, Mum’s donates 5% of the price for WWF to the protection of polar bears.

Teresa Moorhouse

Teresa Moorhouse is a graphic designer and textile artist who is best known for her printed fabric patterns for Marimekko. Her style could be described as graphic, spacious and fresh. Moorhouse has also collaborated with the Finnish brand Mum’s and Design Museum Helsinki.
