Description

The Nuppu Junior cutlery set's rounded design is inspired by stones shaped by waves. The cutlery's weight and safety are carefully considered, making them comfortable to use for little hands. Stainless steel cutlery is made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan, a place known for top metalware.

The Nuppu Junior series is the result of a collaboration between the Japanese lifestyle brand Tokyo SAIKAI and Finnish designer Maija Puoskari. The tableware range is designed for kids aged 3 to 6, bringing joy to every meal. With a timeless design and sustainable material choices, the products last through a child’s life cycle until adulthood, when they can serve in alternative use.

Maija Puoskari

Maija Puoskari was born in Tornio, northern Finland, and runs today her own design studio in Kallio, Helsinki. Her work is characterized by a strong sense of pure form mixed with functionality. The clean and wild Finnish nature has been the inspiration behind several of Puoskari’s works: the Terho pendant lights for the Danish brand Mater are a great example.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

We want you to love your purchase—that’s why we offer 30-day returns.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

By providing a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), you confirm that you are registered for GST in Australia. In this case, GST is collected by Australian customs and therefore deducted from the order total at checkout. This deduction is shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.
