Description

Frama's Fundament candle holder is an expressive, minimalist candle stand made from brushed, laser-cut steel, providing a sturdy base for a single taper candle. When combined, the cool steel surface and warm flicker of candlelight beautifully show how opposites can enhance one another.

Introduced in 2014, the Fundament series was born from designer Maribel Carlander’s exploration of geometric shapes, proportions and composition. The Fundament candle holders, available in three different sizes and shapes, create a captivating display whether arranged individually or as a group, effortlessly suiting any season or occasion.

  • Care instructions Clean with a sponge or cloth using pH-neutral soap and water. Wash thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain to prevent streaking. To avoid risk of marks, please blow out the candle before it burns all the way down.

Maribel Carlander is a Danish designer and cabinetmaker who graduated with a master's degree in industrial design from the Kolding School of Design in 2014. Carlander's designs include a range of objects from furniture to lighting and decorative items, and she has created products for Danish brand Frama, among others.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

By providing a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), you confirm that you are registered for GST in Australia. In this case, GST is collected by Australian customs and therefore deducted from the order total at checkout. This deduction is shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.
