Juhava is a candle factory located in Pieksämäki, Finland, which has been manufacturing high-quality candles since 1942. Juhava candles are made by hand casting from 100% stearin, which means that the candles burn brightly and cleanly and do not contain impurities that cause yellowing or sooting. The traditional candle factory is known, above all, for its church candles and the antique ball candles designed by Timo Sarpaneva, which the factory took back into production in 2017.

Taxes and duties
All non-EU countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that all product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties. When shipping internationally, you are responsible for any customs duties and taxes that are levied by your destination country. Finnish Design Shop does not collect these fees. All orders are shipped from Finland. Each product?s country of origin is indicated in the documents (non-EU orders only).
