Frama – thoughtful Nordic design for all the senses
Founded in 2011, Frama is a Danish design brand celebrated for its use of natural materials, minimalist aesthetic and holistic approach to living and wellbeing. The brand, established by Niels Strøyer Christophersen, is based in the historic St. Pauls Apotek building in the Nyboder district of Copenhagen, and its carefully curated range spans furniture, lighting, home accessories and skincare.
Frama’s collections embrace the philosophy of mindful living: they’re crafted to stand the test of time, bring lasting joy through daily use, and create a multi-sensory experience that delights beyond the visual.
European design expertise
Frama’s furniture and lighting capture the essence of Nordic simplicity with a warm and tactile twist. The focus is on natural materials like wood, stone and metal, combined with a calm, architectural design language. The design talent behind Frama includes renowned names such as Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, Jonas Trampedach and Kim Richardt.
Most Frama pieces are produced in Europe — for example, in Denmark, Italy and Portugal — in close collaboration with skilled artisans who honour traditional craftsmanship.
Wellbeing and sensory indulgence
The wellbeing line includes high-quality soaps, cosmetics and scented candles designed to bring a serene, spa-like atmosphere into your home.
Frama’s popular St. Pauls Apothecary collection features vegan body and hair care products made without animal testing, using natural and responsibly sourced ingredients. The gentle formulas are also suitable for sensitive skin.
